Day 50: Freestyle Rap That I Can't Show You

A couple friends and I made a freestyle rap yesterday that I recorded, but I can't post it because one of them is pretty serious about being a rapper. I haven't actually asked him if I can post it, so when I do, if he says "yes", it will go here.

Sincerely,
Sal

Day 48: Wallpaper! Orange to Purple Pattern Thing

Today I finally caught up with all my creations. Can't fall behind again because that's missing the point. The goal is to develop certain creative habits and skill, and to make expressing myself a consistent staple in my life. Still getting my footing on this commitment.

I'm starting to find a new beauty in the spirit of jugendstil--sharing what beauty I can with others. Helping others beautify their environment. I guess that's what being an artist is, isn't it? So this creation I made in the form of a desktop theme for both you and I. Please download and enjoy.

Day 47: Stove Fire Color Study

I think I'm the black streak in the middle.

Day 46: Scissors Jugenstil

Materials: scissors, sharpie.

Day 45: Arturo's FADECON Badge

I attended the best LAN party ever this weekend, FADECON. I've never experienced such comradery at a LAN party. I can't think of a better way to spend a Valentine's Day weekend. While I helped out at the registration desk and waited for a buddy of mine, I took the liberty of creating his badge.

FADECON's website: http://fadecon.org/

You can also run into us at QuakeCon this July, which is in Dallas, as well. Look for [a2m] or Fadecon.

There's beer because there's beer.

Day 44: Spider-Man Wallet Mod

Just punching up my Spider-Man wallet with a sharpie.

The punch-up as compared to the original printing

Finished product

Day 43: Give A Shit

I'm cheating today and throwing up one of my old creations. Because I give a shit. Feel free to print, modify, and distribute.

Day 42: Smartphone Sketch: Pottery

Day 41: First Smartphone Scribble

Exploring the space with smartphone sketch programs.

Day 40: Thor And Sif Design

A vision that came over me in the twilight of my slumber. Perhaps one day I shall flesh it out to realize it's full potential. For now, this concept rendering shall do.

Day 39: Florida Marriage Magazine Parody

I heard recently that someone in Florida renewed their marriage vows to "Bruce", a ferris wheel. And then I saw a magazine mentioning a "Bruce". This happened.

Day 36: Catching Up On Daily Creations, and a Limerick

I've had two big projects draining my time! But I will catch up with the daily creations very soon. This is a natural part of starting a new challenge like this.

In the meantime, enjoy this limerick for today!

I've been working on stuff
Pretty damn tough
I always feel poor
Want something more
Enough is enough.

Day 35: Little Yellow Tree

Day 34: The Bible Section

I found it interesting that the only people in the bookstore not reading books were the ones staring at the bible section.

Day 33: Sketchbook Cover Doodles

Finally finished the doodle on the cover of my old sketchbook.

Day 32: Mountain Rock Study

Day 31: Article: My Year-Long Sugar Fast (2014)

Read it here.

Day 30: Custom Screen Protector

Cut my own screen protector for my phone out of a larger size that I had from something else. I really like this kind of screen protector because they reduce finger stickiness. They have a frosty matte texture. It's what every touch pad should have.
